Angelman Syndrome is a genetic disorder. Characteristic features of this condition include developmental delay, speech impairment, and problems with movement and balance (ataxia).
Angels have a happy demeanor and laugh easily. While Angels cannot speak, they do have much to say.
My 9 year old niece, Jade, has Angelman Syndrome. She is non-verbal but communicates using the American Sign Language (ASL) she is learning.
I wish I could particpate in this but it's a month away from my trip to Athens. I hope they offer this opportunity next year.

I didn't end up doing the Surf City USA Half Marathon. I wasn't prepared and I didn't want to get sick because I've been battling one illness after another recently.
My highest priority right now is staying healthy and not pushing myself too much.
