A few days before I leave, I will take my luggage out in front of my apartment and spray the outside of it with OFF! Deep Woods DEET. I will allow it to dry for a couple of days before I put all my stuff back in. This is my attempt to keep bed bugs from infiltrating my suitcase.

I enjoyed clicking the links on your list to check out some new things! Thanks! And kudos on having a list! :)
ReplyDeletethat's quite a list.. u prob know this already, but I think they r scrutinizing liquids. Just noticed your cold medicine, shampoo, conditioner, any contact lens stuff, etc. just mentioning in case u need to look for smaller bottles for these liquids. what about a laptop with satellite internet so you can update the Green Girl blog? This Athens marathon, along with the Great Wall of China, have to be the coolest destination marathons ever!
ReplyDeleteNo worries, Doc, all my medication is in pill form!
ReplyDeleteWow, you are prepared!! I'm so excited for you and this trip and can't wait to hear all about it! You are going to have a fabulous time :) Stay safe and have fun!
ReplyDeleteyou are so organized! lol... my packing goes as follows: throw in whatever i think i may need at the last minute! ;)

ReplyDeleteWAY organized, Greenie!! I'm so excited for you, I think I could explode!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat list but you don't have you cool Sole Runners embroidered jacket. It is going to turn out so nice.
ReplyDeleteYou are so organized!! Love it! Don't forget fun clothes to party in! :)
ReplyDeleteTracy, I have been experimenting with my nutrition non-stop since started training for this race. I am not fond of sports nutrition and almost always take 'real food' with me on my runs but I wanted to give gus/gels/bars/etc. another try.
ReplyDeleteI discovered I really like honey on my runs so I buy those sticks that the honey people sell at the farmer's market and I just chew on the end until the honey comes out and then I suck on it as I'm running. It's just the right amount for me.
This makes me feel better about my own slightly epic pack list for the same event!
